Here's
a photo taking during my FLASHPOINT tour, in Missouri!
And
here we are with the gang in Elgin, Illinois, at Books at Sunset, with some of
the many boxes we shipped to our "adopted" Marines in Iraq. We'd
figured we send one box from each of the 27 stops on our tour, but we ended up
sending more like four or five from each city! (Thanks to everyone who
participated!)
While
in Oklahoma City, we had the pleasure of having dinner with Merline Lovelace and
her charming husband!
Merline is so much fun -- I once spent a week on a bus with 20 other romance authors, and it was okay, because one of them was Merline! She knows how to get the party started! LOL!

Last
but not least, here I am with my favorite guy, Ed, on my favorite beach in the
world -- Siesta Key, on the Gulf Coast of Florida, just off Sarasota. In
this photo, we are in the "view the sunset/please keep me warm, I'm a
little cold" position! LOL! My favorite time of day on the
beach is late afternoon into evening. And I loooove sunset!
Check out my canvas beach bag in this photo's foreground. I'm not sure if you can make it out, but if you look closely, you'll see there's a paperback book in there. It's probably something by Jo Beverly. IMO, it doesn't get much better than a nice day on the beach with a good book!
