Here's
a photo from the FLASHPOINT tour -- taken at a wonderful bookstore, The Book
Place, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I did a lunchtime signing here that was
tremendously well-attended!
If
you look closely, you can see my husband Ed and me standing on the deck of a mock
aircraft carrier in the Naval Air Station Museum in Pensacola, Florida.
This was the kickoff to our FLASHPOINT tour, and we had only about 45 minutes to
spend at this wonderful museum. We walked in, and I wanted to cry because
it was so obviously a place where I could've spent hours and hours and hours and
hours...
Whenever
possible, I always try to arrive early at my scheduled booksignings. I
love having a chance to sit and talk to readers who show up early,
too!

to an earnest, hilarious, muddling courtship.
