Two Truths and A Lie, with Navy SEAL Tom Rancich
Official Contest Rules for Non-YouTube Readers:
1) Only one entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
2) Contest entries must be sent via email to BrockmannS@aol.com
3) Contest entries must have "Two Truths with Tom Rancich" in the email subject header
4) Contest entries must be received by noon, eastern time, on Wednesday, August 8, 2007. (Hurry, there's not much time!)
5) Scroll down to see a far less interesting non-YouTube version of "Two Truths and A Lie With Tom Rancich. It consists of a series of statements about Tom.
6) Read each set of statements. For each set, two are true, and one is a lie.
7) Guess which statement --A, B, or C -- is the lie, for each set.
8) Send an email to me at BrockmannS@aol.com with "Two Truths with Tom Rancich" in the subject header. In the body of the email, tell me which statement -- A, B or C -- is the lie for set one, for set two, for set three, and for set four.
(Please format the email something like this:

4) AObviously the answers aren't all A. That would be foolish if I gave that away, right? This is just an example.)
9) Include your name and snail mail address, so if you win, we can send you the prize!
10) Contest entries must contain ONE right answer (one out of four!) to qualify for a random drawing for the contest prize. (Remember: contest deadline is noon, eastern time on Wednesday, August 8, 2007.) Feel free to visit my bulletin board at http://members2.boardhost.com/brockmann/ before entering the contest, to see if Tom (or someone who knows him) drops in to give a hint regarding the correct answers to the contest.
11) One winner will receive a signed Navy SEAL five-pack of Tall, Dark & Dangerous books: Everyday, Average Jones; Identity: Unknown; Get Lucky; Taylor's Temptation and Night Watch. (Jones, Mitch, Lucky, Bobby and Wes's books.)
12) Winner will be contacted by email on Wednesday evening, August 8th. Winner's name will be posted on the FON Countdown page on Thursday, August 9th.

Two Truths and a Lie with Tom Rancich
Statement One:
a) Tom was nailed to a workbench by his brother.
b) Tom was punished with push-ups by his father.
c) Tom had his face dunked in hot oatmeal by his sister.
Statement Two:
a) Tom was arrested in Ft. Lauderdale for hitchhiking and spent the night in jail.
b) Tom left the college of Worcester because it was too small for his personality.
c) Tom wrecked his first car when he was 15.
Statement Three:
a) Tom graduated OCS (Officer Candidate School) with the most demerits ever.
b) Tom still holds swimming records from his town pool from 1975.
c) In the first Gulf War, Tom disposed of chemical weapons as an EOD guy.
Statement Four:
a) Tom once had a total malfunction on a static line jump.
b) Tom's nickname in dive school was "Ensign Biker."
c) Tom painted his rabbits green and they died.
