One week, and counting, until the FORCE OF NATURE Countdown officially begins.
But I just received the PDF file for my FORCE OF NATURE Extras for Readers and Writers booklet, and simply could not wait to share it with you.
So okay. Remember how I said that the FON Extras booklet would be about 56 pages -- the same size as last year's Troubleshooters Reader's Guide?
Um.
This new booklet's actually 66 pages long.
If I keep going at this pace, I'm going to be giving away a free novel to promote my next novel. LOL! In fact, there's a new Sam & Alyssa short story in the FON Extras booklet called Trapped, and it's my longest short story yet.
And then there's the little matter of my so-called holiday "novella," ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT, which comes out on October 30th. It's not really a novella. In fact, it's longer -- by about ten thousand words -- than my book PRINCE JOE. (And if you've read PRINCE JOE, you probably noticed the teeny tiny font and barely-there margins. Yeah, we squeezed that book into a limited number of pages...)
So... writing short is not my strength, but I'm okay with that. And Ballantine, my publisher, seems to be okay with it, too.
They've printed a limited number of copies of the very gorgeous Force of Nature Extras booklets -- those will be available at each stop on my August/September FORCE OF NATURE booksigning tour. (See my appearances page for my complete schedule.) The Extras booklets are also available through my FORCE OF NATURE virtual signing.
