Cover art and a blurb for my latest e-short-story, Shane's Last Stand, is now up on my home page! This story features the former Navy SEAL hero of Born to Darkness, and tells the tale of his final mission with his SEAL team.

Also, I'm continuing to rebuild my website, creating pages for all fifty of my backlist books, including Prince Joe, Forever Blue and the rest of the Tall, Dark & Dangerous series about Navy SEAL Team Ten.

November 22, 2011: The reissue of FUTURE PERFECT is out today! (And there's an excerpt from BORN TO DARKNESS in the back of the book!)

August 15, 2011: I've just posted the cover art for the first book in my new Fighting Destiny paranormal series, BORN TO DARKNESS.

The hero of BtoD is a former SEAL named Shane Laughlin who meets a very... unusual woman and finds himself embroiled in a life and death situation where his training and skill sets come in very handy. The woman (her name is Mac) is part of an equally unusual team of people, so the book has six main characters, whose stories will be intertwined throughout the entire series.

(That's Shane and Mac on the cover -- and my editor and I worked hard with the art department to make sure they both fit their descriptions in the book!)

The story is set in Boston, about twenty years in the future, and the paranormal elements are more science-fiction/modern fantasy-based than whoo-whoo paranormal. (No vamps, demons or monsters -- because I think that human beings have the ability to be scary enough.)

I'll post a cover blurb as soon as I've got one...

February 18, 2011: I've added a whole bunch of coming events (both in person and on-line) to my Appearances page.

(Including some rapidly approaching online chats/blogs on Feb. 28, March 2 and March 5th.)

I've also (finally!) posted info about my March 26th Atlanta appearances - one at the Georgia Romance Writers monthly meeting in Decatur (open to the public!) and the other a library event in Duluth.

I've got a release date for the paperback reissue of my hard-to-find book, FUTURE PERFECT. It's going to be coming out on November 22, 2011. Check out the crazy hot new cover art. (Yikes!)

We're nearly at the just-one-month-to-go mark, for the release of Izzy's book, BREAKING THE RULES. In fact, a hot-off-the-press copy of the hardcover appeared outside my front door just this morning. The book is gorgeous and very, very thick. 504 pages of Izzy.

The Virtual Signing for BREAKING THE RULES is going great guns! I've already received nearly 500 orders for signed books. (Anyone reading this who is thinking, "What is a Virtual Signing?" find out more information here.) And a reminder - I'm giving away a bonus "Extra" -- a limited edition printed copy of my brand new Troubleshooters short story, WHEN TONY MET ADAM. February 1, 2011: The Virtual Signing for BREAKING THE RULES has gone live!

Get a signed copy of Izzy's book, the 16th installment in my Troubleshooters series -- plus a special BONUS "Extras" booklet with a never-before-published short story, When Tony Met Adam.

There are a limited number of copies of this short story in this collector's edition printed format -- and they will only be available via my virtual signing, or at my in-store events celebrating the release of BtR in Sarasota and Atlanta. (See my appearances page for details!)

This short story will, however, be available for sale as an e-short-story in June, 2011 -- in celebration of Gay Pride month and the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. (So don't panic if you don't want to order Breaking the Rules through my virtual signing, but you still want the story. It will be available in all e-reader formats in just a few short months!)

And I'm sad to say that I haven't yet figured out a way to e-sign e-books. I'm working on it. (Maybe by June I'll have worked the kinks out of my system -- at which point I'll have a truly virtual signing! Stay tuned for news of that.) But for now, I've got to stick to signing the hardcovers. In other news and updates, I've added a few in person book signings to my schedule. I'll be at the B&N in Sarasota signing books on Breaking the Rules's release date (March 22), plus I've got plans to visit Atlanta on March 26th.

AND... I'll be attending RWA's National Conference and participating in their big group signing on Tuesday, June 28th in New York City. Last but not least, I'm keynoting the New Jersey Romance Writers conference in October, and there will be a big group signing there, as well. More details on my appearances page...

November 10, 2010: I've finally posted the cover blurb and an excerpt from BREAKING THE RULES, the next installment in my Troubleshooters series about Navy SEAL Team Sixteen. BREAKING THE RULES is none other than Navy SEAL Irving "Izzy" Zanella's book. It's also the longest Troubleshooters book so far, which makes sense, because Izzy's always got a lot to say.

Well, actually, I shouldn't blame the length of this book on Izzy. BtR is probably the longest book in the entire soon-to-be sixteen book series because I'm going to be taking a little break from this set of characters for a while. I had to tie things up and leave no story arcs hanging open. That was a challenge for me, because I really love planting those little seeds of stories-to-come.

Anyway, I've just posted an excerpt from this book. Usually excerpts are from page one, chapter one, but, well, Izzy's never exactly been conventional, and since the book is named BREAKING THE RULES, I decided to go ahead and break the rules and give you an excerpt from Chapter Two. (Chapter One will probably be up on the Random House website in the next few months. I'll throw a link to it here, when it's live.)

July 20, 2010: Well, this website's new, for one thing! I haven't changed a lot -- just made it look like I'm here with you, in the 21st century instead of still back in the dark ages, working with Microsoft FrontPage! (This is a cool new WYSIWYG program called CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer! It rocks! Because you know me -- I'm hands on when it comes to my website. Don't want to have to wait for weeks and weeks to update...)

MORE NEWS: I've got a book coming out on July 27, 2010 called INFAMOUS.

It's my first non-Troubleshooters book in a looooong time. It's also a recession-buster paperback original. It's a contemporary romantic suspense slash rom com slash dramady slash western historical slash paranormal. It's a fun story of a man who's being haunted by the spirit of his great-grandfather -- who was the American West's most notorious outlaw. I love writing books with male relationships, and it was particularly fun to write the "buddy" story of a friendship between a man and his dead great-grandfather!
